The Midway Food Park

When one trailer park closes you inflate your tires and roll on down to the next. With the closing of the South Congress food trailer park, it left many wondering where all the food trucks would go. Austinite’s have seen the increasing growth of the food truck scene around the city and the almost cult like following has turned the trailers into a tourist destination. Across the city small trailer food courts are popping up and one of the newest kids on the block is the Midway Food Park which opens August 15th on the west side of town. According to their Facebook page they will open with One Taco, The Seedling Truck and Dock and Roll but have room for around eight trailers total. Midway Food Park is also hoping to be more than just about the food because they are installing a playground for the little ones to enjoy along with horseshoes and washers for the adults. The Midway will also be hosting live musicians to keep everyone entertained while eating at the food trailer park. We look forward to finally trying the Lobster Rolls from Dock and Roll while letting the traffic on 360 die down.

For more information on their opening be sure to check out their Facebook.

Just checking to see if you have any space for my trailer. I serve traditional
South Texas seafood from the Brownsville, port Isabel area mixed with a little
Cajun influence(my mothers side). Check out our web site,we could
Be a good addition to your park.
    Thank you for your consideration.
